dzaidi

The Venture Capital Fund Institute (VCFI) has recently introduced its inaugural course, the "VC Fund Modeling Masterclass," designed to provide comprehensive training in venture capital fund modeling. This self-paced online program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to build and manage venture capital funds effectively.

The course curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics essential for understanding the intricacies of venture capital fund operations. Participants will delve into fund structures, management fees, portfolio construction, capital calls, exit strategies, and performance metrics such as Total Value to Paid-In (TVPI), Distributions to Paid-In (DPI), Multiple on Invested Capital (MOIC), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The program also includes detailed instruction on management company fee-based budgeting and offers a certificate upon completion to validate the acquired expertise.

Leading the course is Dony Z, Managing Director of Checkmate Capital, who brings extensive experience as both a venture capital investor and a limited partner. Dony holds certifications in Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis from the Corporate Finance Institute and has completed executive education programs at prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School's Negotiation Mastery, Oxford’s Saïd Business School's Fintech program, and Wharton's Financial Modeling course. Additionally, Dony earned an Executive Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship with a focus on Venture Finance from HEC Paris.

The course is tailored for emerging fund managers, aspiring venture capitalists, and angel investors seeking to deepen their understanding of venture capital fund economics and cash flow dynamics. By completing this program, participants will be well-prepared to launch their own funds or advance their careers in the venture capital industry.

Enrollment in the "VC Fund Modeling Masterclass" provides immediate access to instructional videos, presentation slides, comprehensive working templates, and additional resources. Participants will also benefit from lifetime access to course updates, advanced models, and personalized support, including a one-hour live session with the instructor and 24/7 email assistance.
